Lights and Lighting

LED luminaires engineered around thermal management and driver life, because those decide how long the light lasts, not the diode.

Development and manufacture

Almost every early failure in an LED product is thermal or electrical, not optical. Our development work is therefore weighted towards heat paths and driver design: junction temperature is measured on real samples, LM-80 data is projected through TM-21 for the actual operating point, and drivers are life-tested at rated ambient rather than at room temperature. We publish the measured figures, including the ones that are merely adequate.

Optical design, housing tooling, SMT assembly, driver build and photometric testing are all ours. Our integrating sphere and goniophotometer produce the LM-79 and IES files that go out with each product, so the distribution curve a lighting designer imports is measured from the fixture being shipped rather than modelled from a component datasheet.

Product scope

LED bulbs and tubes

Retrofit lamps in E27, E14, B22 and G13, in filament and plastic-aluminium construction, dimmable and non-dimmable.

Panel lights

Edge-lit and back-lit panels in standard ceiling grid sizes, with selectable wattage and colour temperature.

Downlights

Fixed and adjustable downlights with anti-glare optics, in fire-rated and IP44 bathroom variants.

High-bay and industrial luminaires

UFO and linear high bays, tri-proof fittings and hazardous-area luminaires with sealed drivers.

Solar streetlights

Integrated and split solar streetlights with LiFePO4 storage, MPPT charging and motion-adaptive dimming profiles.

Architectural wall-washers

Linear and spot wall-washers with DMX and DALI control, in single colour, tunable white and RGBW.

Emergency exit signs

Maintained and non-maintained exit signage and emergency luminaires with self-test and central battery options.

LED drivers and transformers

Constant-current and constant-voltage drivers with DALI-2, 0–10 V and phase dimming, plus low-voltage transformers.

Held in production

What the line holds, and how we know.

These are figures sustained across a production run rather than a best-case first article, each with the instrument or test that produces it.
