Development and manufacture

Efficiency class is where motor development now lives. Moving a frame from IE3 to IE4 or IE5 is not a matter of more copper — it changes the lamination grade, the slot fill, the rotor design and often the frame size, and each of those has a cost the buyer should see before deciding. We model the machine, build it, and put it on a dynamometer, then hand over the measured efficiency curve rather than a class label.

Lamination stamping, core stacking, winding, impregnation, rotor casting and final assembly are ours, and so is the insulation material that goes into the slot — which is unusual, and useful, because the insulation system and the winding are qualified together rather than separately. Every motor is run, hi-pot tested and vibration checked before it is packed.

Product scope

Three-phase asynchronous motors

IE4 and IE5 induction motors from 0.12 to 355 kW in aluminium and cast iron frames, foot, flange and face mounted.

Permanent-magnet synchronous motors

Line-start and inverter-driven PMSM for pumps, fans and compressors, with efficiency held across a wide load range.

Servo and stepper motors

Servo motors from 0.1 to 15 kW with 17 and 23-bit encoders, plus hybrid steppers with integrated drives.

Miniature brushless DC motors

Compact BLDC motors for fans, pumps and appliances, with integrated Hall sensing and speed control.

Stator and rotor cores

Stamped and stacked laminated cores in 0.35 and 0.50 mm silicon steel, interlocked, welded or bonded.

Enamelled copper winding wire

Round and rectangular enamelled wire in polyester imide and polyamide imide grades, thermal class 180 and 200.
